Alcobendas, Spain
We had an elongated rectangle between two streets, and the competition consisted of creating a thematic park that would add to the array of parks that have already made Alcobendas a destination for children's tourism. Since the possibility of generating spaces that protect from the sun was valued, it was decided to recreate the underwater world under a structure that would serve the dual function of providing a frame for textiles that generate shadows and hanging a large number of play elements from it, evoking the sea floor: a family of stingrays, a school of fish, jellyfish, whales, underwater stations, corals, and starfish.
