Forest Village is the result of a request from the Bilbao City Council. They wanted to create a children's area aimed at a wide range of ages, utilizing an elongated space and providing an integrated and interconnected ensemble without reaching too much height, as they wanted to preserve the privacy of nearby homes. It was decided to design a system of organic structures that relate to each other through multiple sets of ropes. Some of them had "house" profiles added to them in two and three dimensions. The color of the support structures was chosen to discreetly relate to the surroundings, while the houses have bright colors and can all be seen at the same time, giving visual breadth to the ensemble.
