Netivot, Israel
Surrounded by tall residential buildings and bustling streets, an urban void is created, carpeted with greenery and with a center where a cave emerges. A cave where both children and adults can escape from the urban frenzy and enjoy the games, tranquility, and challenges presented by this unique element. With a seemingly random composition of large metal arches, both vertical and inclined, overlapping in various directions, they serve as both a structural element to hang play elements and to support the shade canopies covering its roof, which is an essential element in the Israeli climate. The result is a cave filled with games inside, including slides at various heights, complex climbing and balancing courses, swings, and zip lines.
