Meco, Spain
The City Council of Meco wanted to equip a public square with a children's and youth park that was innovative and emblematic while also being protected from the sun and rain. This type of park is not uncommon in Spain; in the north, it is primarily protected from the rain, and in the south, from the sun. The idea was to utilize the supporting structure of a canopy to serve as both the support structure for the playground equipment.
